As a jewelry artist entering the professional field of this medium I am always looking to use alternative materials with silver. I find it extremely exciting to create a dichotomy between unpredictable materials. It has been a natural choice for me to select felt as a material because my two passions lie in jewelry design and textiles. I believe that the color is a wonderful and bold component of my work. These vibrant felt chains bring the silver to life in my necklaces. Incorporating the fibrous materials in my work gives it a sensual earthiness that I believe to be my signature.
